Eligibility: You must have passed the CPLP knowledge exam and be registered to submit your work product for the 2/19/16 deadline to attend this workshop.
The work product assessment and the CPLP credential are governed by testing rules and standards. This means that there are strict limits on the type of guidance and feedback that can be provided. ATD CI and ATD staff cannot review or give feedback on narratives, evidence choices, or other components of the individual work product submission.
The course is designed to provide a forum for a deeper understanding of the work product assessment and a place to access ideas, suggestions, and different perspectives on how to meet work product requirements. The Handbook, Part 3, is the essential guidance needed to successfully submit the work product. All candidates must follow the guidelines and instructions put forth in the Handbook when submitting their work product and are encouraged to read the Handbook as often as necessary. ATD recommends that you have an outside person review your work product prior to submission.
The course will consist of four online sessions combined with discussion boards for each of the four Areas of Expertise (AOEs). You will have the opportunity to post questions and get answers from both your peers and ATD staff. Successful CPLPs will join online sessions to give you the benefit of their experience. Additional materials will be provided to supplement the Certification Handbook. Sessions will be recorded.
