Learning professionals have a major role in enabling access to critical knowledge and expertise in real time, wherever and whenever work gets done. More than just repositories of content, emerging knowledge management (KM) practices include fostering collaboration and access to experts. KM also requires a multidisciplinary approach where knowledge is directly and systemically integrated into the workplace, often as a function of the job itself.
